I don't have a skin condition that gives me chronic trouble, but the buffing bar is truly the best exfoliant (item?!) I've added to my shower in memory. I've never had the tone or texture to my skin that I have now. What a dream. The re-hydrating gel is also unlike anything I've ever used and am completely addicted to it/can't live without it. It's perfect and I take it everywhere with me. Unreal products!

The speed soak leaves my skin very sticky… it’s not a pleasant feeling. The the body wash does not form a good lather. The buffing bar is ok, but my dry brush exfoliates better and it doesn’t run out. I had high hopes for this from all the positive press. But I was very disappointed.

I usually pair it with the Buffing Bar, using the wash to cushion the abrasiveness of the bar a bit for all over use. Using the full set in conjunction with a dry brush has helped me get rid of ingrowns, soothed east coast insect bites, and has provided a simple (and fairly irritation free) moisturizing experience for summer skin. It is great prep for shaving (though sometimes I epilate) as well. I haven't had any dry, tight, scaly skin with these products and that's usually a guarantee for me. I view Speed Soak on its own as a situational product for environmental conditions (mostly when it's hot and humid) where my go to Carea Cream will be too much. Pairing Speed Soak with Comfort Cleanse transforms Speed Soak into an all season product since Comfort Cleanse's gentle cleansing doesn't strip all the moisture from your skin. Together, these could get me through a dry winter where I don't think Speed Soak paired with other soaps I've previously been using would cut it.
